Day of Dance motivates women to take action to improve their health and the health of their family with a focus on a health and wellness lifestyle. This initiative brings women of all ages together for a day of education, physical activity, community celebration and fun.
Day of Dance specifically educates consumers about the risk factors, chronic diseases, and lifestyle choices that contribute to heart disease and other serious health concerns.
In 2009, 68 member hospitals helped make Day of Dance a nationally recognized initiative that garnered both consumer and national media attention and interest. Spirit of Women Day of Dance hospitals attract hundreds to thousands of attendees to their blockbuster events, significantly enhancing each hospital’s position as the go-to source for health in their communities.
Join us this year, reach out to your community and activate women to dance their way to better health and educate them about the benefits of exercise.
Spirit of Women hospital network is a national innovator of programs and events that educate, entertain and move women to seek healthcare. We are proud of our hospitals and our healthcare providers that believe that chronic disease is preventable and that every person is entitled to a lifetime of vibrant health.
